Dr. Katherine Brammer, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Brammer is a 2005 graduate of Virginia–Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine and has spent her career in both small animal general practice and emergency medicine. She is an avid reader, an amateur artist, as well as a wife and mother. She is very excited to join the Kind family and looks forward to meeting everyone.

Megan Lane, CVT
Lead Veterinary Technician
Originally from New Jersey, Megan moved to Florida in 2014. Megan has been in the veterinary field since 2007. She graduated from Harcum College in Bryn Mawr, PA with her associate degree in veterinary technology. She also participated in a six-month internship at the University of Pennsylvania Small and Large Animal Hospital. Shortly after graduating, she became a certified veterinary technician. When she’s not working, Megan enjoys spending time with her friends, family, and fur babies. She has three dogs: Cooper, Biscuit, and Lily.

Vanessa
Lead Client Care Coordinator
Vanessa joined Kind Animal Care in May of 2021. She has been working in the Veterinary Field for about three years but has worked in the customer service industry for more than fifteen years. One of the things she enjoys the most about working here is assisting clients in getting their pets seen in a timely manner so they can go home feeling better. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her kids, husband, and her menagerie of pets. They have four dogs named Brody, Logan, Margot, and Mazikeen, one cat named Tilly, and two pigs.

Heather, CVT
Certified Veterinary Technician
Heather is originally from Gainesville, Georgia, and moved down to Florida in 2008 with her husband. Her passion for animals began in her youth while growing up on a farm. She knew at a young age that she wanted to pursue a path in the Veterinary field. She started the CVT program at St. Pete college in 2009, and after finishing the program, she started her journey as a Certified Veterinary Technician. She currently owns three cats and three dogs. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and spending quality time with her husband and two kids. She is also a huge UF football fan and never misses a game.

Sarah, CVT
Certified Veterinary Technician
Sarah was born in Des Moines, Iowa, and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. She graduated from the University of Missouri in May 2011 with a Bachelor’s in Health Science. She started her first job in the veterinary industry in December 2011 as a veterinary assistant. In August 2013, she enrolled in a veterinary technology program to further her education. Two years later, she graduated from the program and passed her boards to earn her title of Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT).
In May of 2019, she married her husband, Drew, and a month later, they moved to Spring Hill, Florida, for Drew’s surgical residency program. Sarah joined the KiNd family in March of 2022. She enjoys working with all types of animals, but cats are her passion. You could call her a “crazy cat lady” or “cat whisperer.” Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, their three cats, Lorenzo, Sulley, and Ronan, and their Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, Gryffin. She also enjoys reading, crafting, spending time at the beach, and kayaking.

Jennie
Veterinary Technician
My name is Jennie, and I’m originally from Lima, OH but grew up in Dunedin, FL. I have always had a passion for helping all animals since I was a little girl. I have been in the veterinary field for over 22 years. I found the need to help my clients and further my own knowledge of dog training. I graduated from the National K-9 School for Dog Trainers in 2001. I have since been Fear Free certified as well. I live here in Spring Hill with a horse, nine goats, four dogs, three rabbits, two cats, and many chickens. In my spare time, I like to hang out with my family and tend to the farm.

Ashley
Veterinary Technician
Ashley was born and raised in Florida, starting in the veterinary field in 2014. She went to Hernando High School, where she was a member of Brooksville Sr. FFA. After graduating in 2016 as a certified veterinary assistant, she went from volunteering to working at veterinary clinics. Ashley has worked with a certified dog trainer for over three years, becoming Fear Free certified in 2019. Ashley now lives on her own with her two dogs, three turtles, and three rabbits. In her free time, she can be found hanging out with her friends or loving on her fur babies.

Ashley joined the Kind Animal Care family in June of 2021. She is originally from Virginia but has lived in Florida the majority of her life. She brings with her 9 years of experience in the veterinary field. Ashley has always shown a passion and interest in animals of all kinds. She graduated from Marchman Technical College in 2010 with a veterinary assistant certification. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the outdoors with her fiancé and spending time with her pets. She currently has three pets, Nitro, a 12-year-old lab mix, Steven, a bearded dragon, and Philo, a leopard gecko.

Rhys
Veterinary Technician
Rhys, originally from Massachusetts, moved to Florida in 2018. He has been working in the veterinary field for four years now and joined the KiNd family August of 2021. He currently resides in Port Richey with his wife, rock iguana, Maria, cat, named Nnoc, and twelve snakes. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, drawing and reading. He loves working with all animals but especially has a soft spot for cats.

Yolanda
Veterinary Technician
Yolanda, a Florida native started in the veterinary field in 2004 as a receptionist. Two years later she started working as a veterinary technician and decided that she preferred working more closely with the patients and assisting the veterinarians. She excels in customer service and enjoys educating and communicating with the clients on a daily basis.
In Yolanda’s spare time she enjoys spending time with her two children and her fiancé. Some of the activities they enjoy doing to together are traveling to her son’s and fiancé’s motorcross racing events. She definitely would rather spend time outdoors then stay indoors; other outdoor activities she likes to do with her family are going to the lake, watersports, and relaxing while enjoying the beautiful weather our Sunshine state has to offer.
Yolanda has two pets, a five-year-old boxer named, Maybelline, and a sixteen-year-old cat named, Katerina. In February of 2022 she joined the KiNd family as a veterinary technician. She looks forward to meeting and working with all our patients.

Maria
Veterinary Technician
Maria, originally from Colombia, moved to Florida in 2010 with her adoptive parents. She started working in the veterinary field in 2017 and has loved it ever since. She joined the KiNd family in February of 2022 as a veterinary technician. In her spare time, she enjoys working out and spending time with her son going to the beach, or anything outdoors in general. She has five pets, Banjo, a one-year-old feline, Meow-Meow, a five-year-old feline, Roscoe, a five-year-old canine, Cardi, a six-year-old-canine, and Prim, a three-year old feline.

Teri
Client Care Coordinator
Teri is one of our kiNd Animal Care receptionists always ready to take your call. She moved to Florida from Georgia in August with her husband, daughter, bearded dragon, and two dogs but is originally from Nova Scotia, Canada. She brings over 20 years of customer service knowledge and passion to the team and is excited to serve the community with us. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, time at the beach, and taking photographs.

Sam
Client Care Coordinator
Sam joined the KiNd family as a receptionist in July of 2021. Before joining KiNd Animal Care, she worked in childcare for thirteen years and even though she loves kids she decided she was ready to venture into the Veterinary field. She is originally from Iowa and moved to Florida in 2017 with her boyfriend, David. Sam has been an avid animal lover her whole life and has owned many different types as animals such as guinea pigs, bunnies and turtles. Currently she has three rescue dogs named, Jager, Willow and Bailey. She also owns a bearded dragon, Robin, and a hamster, Whitney. Sam has a soft spot for senior dogs and pit bulls.

Donna
Client Care Coordinator
Donna, a California native, grew up in several different areas of the United States and Europe, due to her father being in the Army. She settled down in Florida in the early 70’s and worked for several years in the human pharmacy field. In the year 2000, she switched career paths and began working in the Veterinary medicine field. She has two grown children, seven grandchildren and a four-legged fur baby, named Ava, who is a seven-year-old black mouth cur.
